JCA rises to the Challenge
Challenge Industrial Fastenings, manufacturers and suppliers of a wide range of standard and special fasteners, recently purchased
two Trade Approved JCA high precision counting scales from
APEX Digital Scales to improve their counting operations.
The JCA's are used to check the quantity of incoming goods, to ensure count accuracy on the pre-packed sales of fasteners in quantities from 20 to several thousand, and also for the company's stocktaking requirements.
JCA counting scales are user friendly, have a ten item memory database, accumulation and printing facilities, a rechargeable battery giving 60 hours use between charges and have an internal resolution of 1:600,000 as well as the 'normal' counting functions.
A sample quantity may be used to determine the Average Piece Weight (APW) prior to each counting operation, or a pre-determined APW may be entered via the keypad. The latter method, together with the database memory, both significantly speed up the counting procedures.
Since taking delivery of the 15 Kg and 30 Kg JCA's, Managing Director
Mr Jim Mooney says that 'the scales have been trouble free, the speed of counting has improved considerably, and miscounts have been virtually eliminated - they represent very good value for money' he added.
